Round and round I go with my Sea Foam skirt. Decided last Sunday that I needed to knit a skirt. Not sure why I needed to knit a skirt but there it is. Can't tell you what the yarn is only that it was in my stash and I had so much of it that I knew I would have enough for a skirt. Which makes me wonder just how much of this stuff did I buy way back when? Can't remember my first project with it but the second was a throw wrap stole thing for my cousin and yet I still have tons of the stuff. The green reminds me of the real color of sea foam and I started knitting it while the man was watching Moby Dick on T.V.
Waiting on my Lopi yarn to be delivered any day now to start my Einstein Coat from Sally Melville's Knit book. Yes, I know it's Spring here and 88 hot degrees in these parts but really have the urge to knit a heavy, warm coat. Go figure.
Look what I found in our yard yesterday.
I know what you mean about knitting something heavy. I have this hankering to knit Norwegian wristwarmers and sweaters. Was on Garnstudio's site last night checking out their patterns in DROPS for 2-3 hours!
How's Annie taking in the weather? Chasing the squirrels and bunnies away like a good dog? :)
