It has been a slow and sneaky process but my Muggle conversion of The Man is finally starting to work it's magic. While speaking with him today, he began to tell me about a sweater his client had draped over her shoulders today. The Man was able to tell the yarn was cashmere and (get this!) there was "felting sewn on to the back of it". This coming from a Muggle that used to think "you boil yarn right?" to felt. He also told me it wasn't hand knitted and bragged to her that his wife knits. As for him knitting . . . it is the strangest thing, he likes to cast on of all things but knitting is "boring". Gotta wonder about that.
Ah, Noro! (deep sigh) Truly, is there any other yarn company that has the lush depth of their colors? Even their black has a richness that is amazing. My obsession with Noro continues so I must admit I was up till 1 a.m last night just knitting away because I had to keep seeing what color would come out of both skeins of yarn next. My rainbow scarf is coming out beautifully.
The scarf is beautiful. Keep up the good work on the conversion!

Love how we affect our Men! I remember Rich at Sakonnet Purls and how he said I better check out the Sale Shed because "There is merino in there!"
