OHMYGOD! OHMYGOD! OHMYGOD!
OH
MY
GOD!
I got us some tickets!!!! Have no idea where our two little tickets are but WE ARE GOING! I was running around the house like a mad woman, hooting and hollering with Annie charging along barking and leaping with me. Annie of course did not having a clue to why we were so excited but very happy to participate.
The Man wisely was staying out of the curly haired girl's crazy, insane celebration running through the house by hiding out in the bedroom. Our bedroom wasn't quite in the multiple loops of frenzy running through the house.
Last time they came through Atlanta was way back in the day of having to camp out and stay in line forever. Somehow, my mother didn't quite go for her teenage daughter doing that. Can't imagine why! I had to not only live through not going but our exchange college student from Sweden WENT AND LIVED TO TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT. Damn her!
Missing that concert still has deep psychological issues bothered me. Well up to this past Saturday morning at the glorious hour of 10:07 when I got into Ticket Master on the billizonith try in 7 minutes to buy those Mac Daddy tickets.
For a really good laugh, check out the llama happenings on JenLa. Her photos had me cracking up!
Hoped all had a good weekend. We were at the Lake most of the weekend and are now beat.
That's exactly how I felt when we got tickets to see Counting Crows a couple of weeks ago. It's only taken ten years...

Hooray! I haven't been to see a concert in ages but I'm thinking that I'd like to take hubby to see Smashing Pumpkins when they come to ATL sometime this year.

Last concert I went to was Justin Timberlake or Robbie Williams - can't really remember, but it was a joyous occasion as hardly anyone comes down here!
Also, thanks for your comment and support today. We really should meet up in Japan. x

So, second only to Rickie Lee Jones- who was actually in my area (Pittsburgh) last week and I didn't know it- your tickets are the concert of choice. I remember myself as that h.s./college student thinking- if only I could see the Police I would NEVER have to go to another concert for the rest of my life. I will be living so vicariously through you. I know that manic loop-de-loop you ran.
