Happy July 4th to all Americans and Happy mid-week to the rest of the universe.
Volunteered to work today which turned out to be a nice lazy half work day which was a nice surprise. Came home and promptly crashed on the couch in the den. Vaguely remember waking up to a very happy Annie telling "hi" when she and The Man got home. Next time I woke up, Annie is on the couch in the living room and The Man is asleep in bed. We dragged all three of us out to the Universal Joint for dinner. After craving grilled hot dogs, burgers and potato salad all day I ended up eating grilled fish salad.
We were going to walk down to the Decatur square to watch fireworks tonight but it's not quite dusk and I'm already in my jammies wanting to go back to bed. Geeze, aren't I the exciting one! Guess we'll be listening to those fireworks tonight.
Oh, got a surprise delivery of my yarn from Knitch wound up on Wed's when I met my cousin Kathleen at Whole Foods. What a rockin' surprise. Course, all I have had time to do is look and pet my new yarn. Pictures to follow.
Have to add that when I was at the Knitch sale on Sunday there was this lady knitting up cashmere in colors that were Watermelon! I wanted to take a bite out of her yarn and can't keep that skein off of my mind. The depth of the color was amazing.
Hey now, you better get started on knitting those lurvely projects! Maybe we could have a national race on FO content?
