Today is My Day out of all the day's of the year. It began with me being able to sleep in late with The Man kindly keeping Poodles, Inc. at bay in the hallway outside our bedroom door. Was able to sleep in to the lovely hour of 8:30 a.m. which I haven't seen the likes of since late November 2008. The boy (Jack) likes to nudge me awake at 7:30 on the weekends.
About to go get dressed to go out and have some wanderlust fun. Going to go here and there for a few baubles and yarn bits. Cashmere, maybe? Then off to a restaurant that makes me feel like I am in France for lunch. Oh did I mention a dear friend took me me out last night for a long and lovely dinner at another restaurant that has the atmosphere of France. Pretending to be in France has been a running theme for my past several birthdays. One year I will be in France for my birthday!
Even one of my favorite in-laws is coming to town today. Unfortunately it was not for me but a sad reason but I am looking forward to spending some time with him.
