Big News in the World of Yarn.

In case you haven't heard, this past Friday there was a new player in the world of yarn. Jared Flood who is Brooklyn Tweed released a new line of yarn, Shelter. The yarn is wonderful and I know this because my little LYS Knitch is only one of nine flagship stores selling the yarns!

For those that live far and wide Knitch can ship the yarn to your doorstep.

Eye Candy Friday Yep, it is true. I not only know where the enterance to the End of the World is, I have actually been there and lived to tell about it.

Working on some New Looks One of the big things that has been keeping us busy around these parts for the past two months has been getting quotes for several different projects for the house. Who knew getting 3 quotes for HVAC and heating would be such a merry-go-round! Seriously, you would think it would be comparing oranges to other oranges. It is not. More like oranges to butternut squash to apple pie. The Man and I ended our multiple discussions with numbers swimming in front of our eyes with me insisting we had to have at least new A/C unit by Spring 2011. Current...
